How result verification works

What “verified” means

A verified result has been matched to the official results for that race, using the name on your BibStack profile. Verified races show a green verified badge next to the finish time.

How to verify a result

• When adding a past race, choose I have a results link and paste the official results page. If we find you, the result is saved as verified.
• For a race you’ve already added, open it and tap Verify this race.

What’s locked after verification

So a verified result stays true to the official record, its name, distance, finish time and gun time can’t be edited. Everything else (notes, effort, shoes and so on) can still be changed.

If we can’t find your result

Results pages vary a lot. If we can’t match you, you can request a manual review and we’ll check it ourselves.
